If you’ve ever built a gaming setup, you know how much thought goes into it. Choosing the best equipment, such as chairs, headsets, etc., alone can be a difficult call to make, let alone the CPU case, monitor, graphics card, power supply, and more.
Additionally, keeping everything under a budget is another hard nut to crack. I wouldn’t say creating a gaming setup is always expensive, but if you’re not careful enough, it can break the bank, for sure.
That said, I believe the process of creating your dream setup becomes fairly easy when you follow a few guidelines, which I’ll share here.

Now, keep in mind that your gaming requirements can significantly impact your budget. While I’ll explain how you can determine your setup requirements in the next step, do look up on the internet or visit a nearby gaming shop to have an idea of how much graphical processing units (GPUs), processors, and other components cost.
Other than this, ask yourself about the games you want to play on your setup. Or, if you also want to stream your gameplay on platforms like Twitch or YouTube. The fact that whether you want to upgrade your gaming system over time can also fluctuate your budget.
In short, add every cost you would be making for your gaming setup, even the cost of your gaming mouse, which would be essential in offering an immersive gaming experience (que será esencial para ofrecer una experiencia de juego inmersiva).

As I mentioned above, the components you add to your gaming setup can impact your budget. Now, let me tell you a little about the must-haves in your gaming setup.
GPU, processor, cooling system, power cable, read-only memory (RAM), and storage are some of the core components of a gaming setup (son algunos de los componentes principales de una configuración de juego).
Generally, it’s a rule of thumb that the more expensive these components are, the better their performance will be. However, it’s not a necessity to always invest in high-end essentials. Keep in mind your current gaming requirements, and decide accordingly.
Also, if you plan to upgrade your gaming setup, then I believe you don’t need to go all out at once. Create a setup with a limited budget, start playing games, and at the same time, save more money to upgrade. This way, with time, your gaming experience will refine your requirements and help you upgrade efficiently.

It goes without saying that a reliable internet connection can make or break your gaming experience. Your efforts might be futile, even if you spend top dollar on gaming components and don’t upgrade to a blazing-fast connection.
Here, you must understand that a high-speed connection may complement your gaming essentials. For instance, what good is a powerful processor or GPU if your connection causes the game to lag?
Besides the gaming experience, downloading heavy games on a spotty connection might become another headache. So, when you’re creating a gaming setup, do watch out for your internet connection.

These accessories significantly contribute to your gaming ecosystem, especially when you’re into competitive gaming. And, when compared to essential components, which I have mentioned above, gaming accessories cost significantly less.
Now, as I mentioned above, such accessories are optional. And, it totally depends on whether you want a comfortable chair so you can game for hours, want a headset that doesn’t hurt your ears, or both for an immersive gaming experience (o ambos para una experiencia de juego inmersiva).

Maintain Your Gaming Setup
The process of creating your gaming setup doesn’t end after turning it on for the first time. In fact, it doesn’t end at all because if you want your gaming setup to keep working efficiently, you have to maintain it regularly.
There are a lot of factors in a gaming setup that you need to take care of. Firstly, you need to ensure that no dust resides inside your gaming setup. The dust can block the fans inside your setup, which are responsible for cooling it down (que son responsables de enfriarlo).
Furthermore, if you use a cooling gel, keep an eye on it and replace it before it depletes. Otherwise, your gaming setup can overheat and cause irreparable damage.
Lastly, always be careful while downloading games on your PC. There are so many fraudulent and malicious websites on the internet that can install malware or a virus on your system. Besides corrupting your data, such harmful content can also damage your system’s drivers.
